On a real export, 1,328 of 1,337 records were matched (99.3%). Condition, notes and folders come along; nothing to rescan.

The problem
Years of collecting on Discogs, hundreds of pressings entered one by one: nobody wants to rescan everything to try another app. And an import that matches records by title picks the wrong pressing, which skews the whole collection.

What the app doesn't do
- Your Wantlist doesn't import: the file is recognized and turned down, with an explanation.
- Neither Discogs's price data nor the date added is carried over: a date added isn't a purchase date.
- The import is one-off: the app doesn't sync with Discogs. Re-importing a newer file only adds the new records.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I export my Discogs collection?
- On discogs.com, open your Collection, then the collection settings menu and “Export My Collection”. Choose Collection, request the export, and download the CSV file when Discogs lets you know it's ready.
- Does the import find the right pressing?
- Yes, for every record still in Discogs's public data, which our catalog takes in every month: a release ID points to one specific pressing. If the record is no longer there, the app tries the barcode when the export carries one, and never guesses from the title.
- Do I have to leave Discogs?
- No. The import reads a file; it doesn't touch your Discogs account. You can keep Discogs for its marketplace, and use What I Already Own to scan in stores, offline included, and to see what your discographies are missing.
- What if I import the same file twice?
- Nothing is duplicated: what's already in your collection is neither added again nor changed. An interrupted import restarts with the same file.
