A wishlist to share, so you only get what you're missing
In What I Already Own, every volume or album missing from a series, discography or bibliography you've started can become a wish. A share link shows your family your collection and, if you choose, your wishes, with no account to create. A wish disappears on its own when the title enters your collection.

The problem
Every birthday, the same question: what do they already have? Giving a record or a book to a collector means risking a duplicate. A wishlist kept separately is never up to date, and it doesn't say what they own.
How the app handles it

- 3Create a share linkChoose shelves or your whole collection, tick “My wishlist”, and send the link by message, email or WhatsApp.
- 4Your family picks without guessingThey see what you own, search for a title, and find what you're missing under “What would make them happy”. A title you add to your collection leaves the list.

What the app doesn't do
- A wish comes from a title missing from a collection you've started: you can't add just any record or book from the catalog.
- Your family can't mark a title as reserved or bought: to avoid the same gift twice, they need to talk to each other.
- The link always shows at least part of your collection: wishes can't be shared on their own.

Frequently asked questions
- Does my family need an account?
- No. The link opens in any browser, with no account or app to install. It stays up to date: what you add shows up there.
- What exactly do they see?
- Title, artist or author, year, format and cover of what you share, plus your wishes if you chose to. Never your prices, notes, item condition or email address. The page isn't indexed by search engines.
- Can I take access away?
- Yes: delete the link from the Share screen. Its address then shows that the link is no longer active, and shared photos stop showing.
- Can I add a book outside my series to my wishlist?
- Not today: wishes come from “What you're missing”, meaning the series, discographies and bibliographies you've started.
